November Newsletter ’22

Who doesn’t enjoy a good story? Some enjoy telling them, some enjoy hearing them, but what I’ve learned over the course of my career is that we all have a story to tell. This month we’re going to dive into why, here at Consider It Done, we’re in the business of people’s stories. But first, some updates from the Warehouse!

Your Story Is Precious

Listening to your story

I’ve always understood that in our line of work, we’re rarely just handling the downsizing, or the organizing, or the packing up for a move.

The things we have in our hands are precious goods – more than just an object, but a moment in time, a memory of someone departed, a cherished memento.

I’m sometimes asked, why do people have such a hard time of letting go of things? It’s because oftentimes, they aren’t just things – these objects hold stories. And our fear is that if we let these objects go, we’re letting go of our legacies and the stories will be lost.

At Consider It Done, we’re in the business of ensuring we keep your stories alive.

So tell us your story! We want to help you create those legacies, without the burden of physical objects.
